Blacktown City Council's Kids' Early Learning division provides high-quality early childhood education and care services to families across the Blacktown local government area. We are seeking a Casual Early Childhood Teacher to join our team, who will assist in the development and implementation of our care and education programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a recognised three or four-year University Degree in Early Childhood Education, meeting requirements under the ECS National Regulations 2018. They will also have completed a Child Protection Course, including Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm. Additionally, they will hold current certificates in HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and either HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training.

In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to the growth and development of the children in our care, working collaboratively with the Director Child Care and other team members to develop and implement care and education programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  3. Collaborate with the Director Child Care and other team members
