About the Role

This rare and exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on Inventory Supervisor/Coordinator to join our team based in Clarence Gardens South Australia.

The role is responsible for the management of timely replenishment of raw ingredients and packaging materials for the site, including the coordination of storage and accompanying relationships, receivables, dispatching and transfers within the site operation.

You will ensure the availability of materials for all product lines in order to meet production schedules.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Purchasing Materials: You will purchase materials via the MRP list in SAP and monitor and respond to exception messages.
  • Maintaining Stock Levels: You will maintain weekly stock levels, primarily in relation to all raw and packaging materials used on site.
  • Scheduling Deliveries: You will schedule inbound deliveries, taking into account site requirements and storage constraints.
  • Following Up Orders: You will follow up on orders in a timely manner (24 hours), clearing blocked orders, price and quantity variances.
  • Liaising with Suppliers: You will liaise with suppliers in relation to on-time deliveries, product returns, credit notes and non-compliance. You will escalate any supply concerns to site management as required.
  • Matching Receivables: You will ensure all receivables are matched with invoices on a daily basis, confirming completion of orders and compliance with details specified on the Purchase Order.
  • Monitoring Stock Use-by Codes: You will ensure that stock levels and use-by codes are monitored closely to reduce write-offs and optimise availability to site.
  • Managing Forklift Fleet: You will manage the forklift fleet across 3 shifts, including managing rosters.
  • Coordinating Transport Costs: You will coordinate the transport cost, plastic pallets and M3 Pallecons stock-takes and shortfall, COR and drivers induction, external warehouse cost.
  • Managing Bottle Production: You will manage closely bottle production and stock level to ensure constant supply to factory and cost optimisation, i.e., recommending what shifts are required in Blowmoulding to maintain stock levels, minimise transport & storage, etc.
  • Conducting Inventory Control: You will conduct inventory control, stock balances and reconciliation on raw and packaging materials via SAP.
  • Focusing on Quality and Safety: You will ensure Quality and Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
