We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager - Operations Lead to join our team in Australia.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the maintenance department and lead a team of professionals in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and Complete General Maintenance: Ensure all general maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
- Preventative Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
- Contractor Management: Coordinate and supervise external contractors to ensure all work activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to maintenance team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all aspects of property maintenance meet Accor's high standards.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate reporting of maintenance activities and compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintenance Experience: A strong background in maintenance or engineering, preferably within a strata/MLR operation.
- Administrative and Computer Skills: Excellent administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in software applications relevant to the maintenance industry.
- Financial Acumen: A comprehensive understanding of financial management principles and experience in managing budgets and costs.
What We Offer

- An Estimated Annual Base Salary of $80,000 - $95,000 (gross), based on qualifications and experience.
