Salary: $32 - $40 per hour + allowances

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team at our facility in Eastern Creek. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe Operation of Electric Pallet Jack: Operate electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Forklift Licence: Hold a current forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
  • Workplace Health & Safety: Demonstrate a sound understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Numeracy & Literacy Skills: Possess competent numeracy and literacy skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and manage tasks.
  • Initiative: Take initiative to make a positive contribution to the business and suggest improvements where possible.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Warehousing Industry: Have knowledge of the warehousing industry and previous experience operating an electric pallet jack.
  • Cold Storage Experience: Have previous experience working in a cold storage environment.
  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit and able to meet KPI targets.
  • Good Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Strong Work History: Have a strong and reliable work history.
  • Availability: Be available to work Monday to Friday shifts or Friday to Monday shifts.
  • Weekend Availability: Willingness to work weekend shifts if required.
  • Transportation: Possess a current driver's licence and own reliable transportation.
  • Pre-Employment Checks: Pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
