About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Kirinari Community Services. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their day-to-day living, including domestic and personal care assistance.
  • Assist individuals to access and participate in community activities and events.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure high-quality care and support services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Ability to work shift work, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Resilience, confidence, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and programs.
