
Operational Aged Care Leader

We provide support to more than 130,000 people to live independently at home and across our retirement living communities and residential aged care homes.
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services by providing leadership and coaching to senior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to ensure quality resident services and achievement of operational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement to drive consistency and sustainability.
- Develop marketing strategies and relationships with external providers to enhance Home occupancy.
- Prepare financial forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Lead the development of team members through guidance, coaching and feedback.
- Assume a key role in workforce planning, including recruitment, leave management, succession planning and performance management.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s in management or business (desired).
- Registered Nurse (essential).
- Significant experience working in a senior capacity in aged or health care.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational management, including human resources, leadership and motivation, budgeting and service delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Broad understanding of legislation and regulatory requirements affecting aged care.
- Ability to empower staff to take initiative and responsibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and organizational software products.
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Solution-focused with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Valid Australian work rights and willingness to undergo a police check.
- NDIS workers check prior to commencement.
