Coal Dispatch Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dispatch Officer to join our team at Whitehaven Coal. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for efficiently dispatching our haulage fleet, monitoring machine and location statuses, and meeting targets in regards to production and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch haulage fleet according to planned priorities
• Monitor machine and location statuses for accurate daily reporting
• Meet targets in regard to production and safety
• Track and manage trucks and operators
• Supervise daily haulage fleet operations

Requirements

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
• People management experience, with a focus on team leadership
• Good communication skills, with a high attention to detail
• Strong forward-thinking mindset, with strategic and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

What We Offer

• Monday-Friday roster, with rotating day and night shifts
• 10.5 hours of work per day
• $41 per hour, plus penalties
• Earning potential of $135,000 per year
