Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Curriculum: Plan, develop and implement curriculum programs that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
  • Support Student Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage students in their learning, including the use of technology and other innovative approaches.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues to plan, write and deliver structured lessons that differentiate and personalize the learning experience for each student.
  • Create a Supportive Learning Environment: Establish a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes social-emotional growth, resilience and academic achievement.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant University degree, current Queensland College of Teachers Registration, First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess appropriate knowledge and skills to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs that meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of students who are at risk of disengaging from education.
  • Behavioural Management: Effectively communicate with students, including the use of appropriate interpersonal skills and behaviour management strategies that contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive learning environment.
