Senior Intelligence Analysts play a critical role in providing subject matter expertise to inform the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission's (ACIC) efforts to combat organised crime. As a Senior Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for providing high-level analysis and advice to support the development of strategic initiatives and operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Intelligence Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the contemporary organised crime environment in Australia and overseas;
  • Provide expert analysis and advice to support the development of strategic initiatives and operations;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address gaps in intelligence and capability;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including law enforcement and intelligence agencies;
  • Contribute to the development of intelligence products and reports to support decision-making;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and threats in the organised crime environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant law enforcement or National Intelligence Community operational intelligence experience;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • High-level computer skills, including proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools.
