Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Trainee Manager to join our team at Tops Devonport. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in guiding the development of our nursery and ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement effective strategies for the nursery's growth and development.
  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate the nursery's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring they are informed and involved in their child's care and education.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
  • Experience in a childcare leadership role, preferably in a nursery or preschool setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and carers.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
