Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Operations Manager

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring the provision of approvals to authorized service providers for passenger and commercial vehicle maintenance and repair nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and approving suppliers' requests for maintenance and repair work on managed vehicles and equipment.
- Ensuring all services delivered are in line with manufacturers' service requirements.
- Overseeing maintenance costs incurred post-vehicle delivery to customers.
- Providing accurate information and resolving day-to-day operational issues within agreed timeframes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a qualified diesel mechanic background, effective communication skills, and the ability to critically analyze information and solve problems.
They must also be a licensed heavy vehicle mechanic with experience in maintenance and repair work preferably in a fleet management environment.
Key Performance Indicators:
Timely and cost-effective maintenance, improved supplier relationships, and excellent customer service will be the focus.
