Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Chief Engineer to oversee maintenance operations at our service center. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary liaison for all aircraft maintenance activities and lead a dedicated team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all maintenance work performed on aircraft.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of qualified engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address maintenance challenges.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of five years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and standards.
- Strong leadership and effective communication abilities.
- Proven capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks.
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
- Proactive and positive approach to work.
Essential Certifications
- In-depth knowledge of aviation industry regulations.
- Possession of a CASA Part 66 B1 or B2 licence.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and achieve results in a team setting.
