Electrician Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrician Technician to provide critical maintenance support to our fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

This role is essential to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of machinery and plant equipment, minimising downtime and optimising production targets.

As an Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical equipment, plant, and machinery operate effectively and safely.

About You
  • Qualified/licensed Electrician (A-Grade or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motors, and control systems
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on production lines, packaging equipment, refrigeration, and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults with urgency to support continuous production
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and modifications of food manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards, HACCP, GMP, and site policies
  • Maintain accurate service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
