Senior Trader Assistant

A highly skilled and experienced Senior Trader Assistant is required to lead a team of traders assistants in our Sydney office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in equity derivatives trading and trade support, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with traders and operations teams to ensure seamless trade execution and settlement
  • Coordinate and facilitate trade discrepancies and resolution
  • Complete trade bookings and P&L reporting
  • Liaise with IT teams to ensure trade systems are functioning correctly
  • Collate and analyze management reporting data

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in middle office/trade support capacity at a global investment bank, trading firm, or hedge fund
  • Proven leadership experience in trade support for equity derivatives trading
  • Thorough knowledge of equity and equity derivatives products
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python skills
  • Strong corporate actions knowledge and excellent communication skills
