Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Specialist Nurse to join our team. As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to specialize in anaesthetics and work in a dynamic environment.

Knox Private Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, providing high-quality care to patients across Melbourne's east and outer east. Our hospital features 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a range of medical and surgical specialties, including complex surgeries.

About the Role :

This role involves working collaboratively with surgeons, specialist doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Your skills and experience will enable you to make sound clinical decisions and solve problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing anaesthetic procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements :

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience in acute care
  • Current APHRA registration
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
