Within Mulpha, The Signal Group operates as a leading provider of staff identification and branded merchandise solutions. Based in South-East Queensland, we cater to clients nationwide, offering customized name badges, personal security solutions, awards, promotional items, workwear, and signage.
As the Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to design and execute B2B marketing and communication strategies for The Signal Group. This role emphasizes the development and implementation of digital strategies that align with sales growth objectives while equipping the Sales team with effective strategies and materials to enhance B2B direct sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, execute, and manage B2B marketing and communication strategies aimed at driving sales and achieving revenue goals.
- Customize marketing plans to align with product and brand target markets, customer segments, and other relevant criteria to maximize impact.
- Develop a comprehensive customer journey sales approach utilizing marketing automation tools such as HubSpot.
- Oversee the external marketing agency for The Signal Group, ensuring timely delivery of defined objectives.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Group Sales Manager to create a cohesive digital marketing strategy, including EDMs, SEO, Paid Social, and content marketing to meet performance targets.
- Manage daily website operations, including product updates, content management, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Lead social media initiatives, including strategy development, content creation, and daily engagement through marketing automation platforms.
- Coordinate with graphic designers to produce compelling visual assets for various marketing channels.
- Take charge of tender submissions in collaboration with the Group Sales Manager and General Manager.
- Manage marketing budgets and analyze ROI to ensure optimal resource allocation for maximum effectiveness.
- Evaluate performance metrics and KPIs to assess marketing campaign effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Provide leadership and support to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, or similar roles, particularly in a B2B context.
- Proven track record in online product sales and driving sales growth.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, Paid Search, Social Media, and Affiliate marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of Google Analytics.
- Technical proficiency in e-commerce platforms and plugins.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and EDM platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
