Job Opportunity

A pre-training operation based in the Mornington Peninsula seeks an experienced track work rider.

This role involves working with a team of 16 horses and performing general stable duties to ensure their well-being and care.

  • Ride 6-8 horses per day, utilizing techniques such as swimming and tread-milling.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent horsemanship skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily riding duties, including riding 6-8 horses per day.
  • Ensure the well-being and care of our equine athletes through general stable work.

Working Hours:

This role involves working Monday to Saturday, with varying hours between 6:30am and 12pm, and two afternoons per week from 4-5pm.

Requirements:

  • Excellent horsemanship skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team.
