About the Role
A position has become available to work in a dynamic environment as a spray technician. In this role, you will work to a schedule of work to manage and maintain pest plants in our parks and green spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Application of growth retardants to control native vegetation
- Chemical spraying and application of herbicides to maintain ecosystem balance
- Operating spray equipment and machinery to ensure efficient pest control
- Supporting general garden maintenance to promote healthy ecosystems
- Pest plant control to protect native species
About You
- Australian driver's license - Manual
- Hold a certificate 3 in conservation and land management
- Experience in spraying natives vs weeds
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Physical fitness to walk long distances
- Flexibility to work additional hours to complete scheduled work
