About The Job:

As a Senior Backend Engineer at our company, you will be working on a range of systems consisting of both internal and external facing applications such as our Broker portal platform, our internal loan management system (custom built by us) and financial wellness tools like Breach Alert, Credit Scores and Debt Bustr. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of novel and diverse problems across the business, along with providing technical guidance and mentorship to more junior engineers.

Our Engineers and Product teams work closely together to solve problems with creative solutions. You will collaborate with teams both within the Product & Innovation space as well as the wider business and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex software systems using C#/.NET Framework 4.7 and .NET Core 8.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Work on a variety of novel and diverse problems across the business.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Software Engineer who has:

• A strong background in C#/.NET development.
• Experience working with React, SQL, and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with Azure Devops or other CI/CD platforms.
• Strong experience with integration and unit testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
