Surgeon Specialist Opportunity in Far North Queensland

We are seeking an experienced General Surgeon to join our team at a major hospital in Far North Queensland. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases and contribute to the growth and development of our surgical department.
**About the Role**
As a General Surgeon at our hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to patients across a range of specialties, including general surgery, trauma, and paediatrics. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to our patients and their families.
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Providing surgical consultations and procedures to patients across a range of specialties
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Contributing to the growth and development of our surgical department through education, research, and quality improvement initiatives
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- General Registration with AHPRA
- Current work rights in Australia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
**Salary Information**
The salary for this role is $250,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. This is a competitive rate that reflects the experience and qualifications required for this position.
