Department Manager - Kmart

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department specialists

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience, increase sales, and reduce costs
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a big-box or high-volume retail environment
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on developing and empowering team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
