To support our growth, we have an opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Key Account Manager to join our successful team at the national level.

The Role:

As our newly appointed Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for actively managing sales territories, key customer relationships, and activities, supporting marketing efforts, identifying customer trends, and opportunities to achieve/exceed sales targets.

The role will focus primarily on national banner groups and OTC across Australia, supporting the launch and sales of our latest product.

  • Administration

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Meet/exceed sales and growth targets, delivering budgeted revenue.
  • Engage with national buying groups and pharmacies to provide disease and product education/awareness.
  • Attend industry conferences relevant to therapeutic areas to expand knowledge and communicate findings to the team.
  • Develop an annual strategic territory action plan and strategy for assigned products, revised quarterly.
  • Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for advocacy as required.
  • Follow through on customer commitments and requests promptly.
  • Meet or exceed agreed reach and frequency targets with key Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
  • Monitor key financial areas, including monthly sales and expenditure recording.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of therapy areas to inform strategies and support future activities.
  • Utilize strong technical knowledge and sales skills to build confidence in our brand.
  • Contribute to cross-functional relationships with Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory, Quality, Medical, and Distribution teams to support objectives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in OTC, pharmacy banner groups, and major chain accounts.
  • Tertiary qualification in science, health, or business fields.
  • Completion of the Medicines Australia Continuing Education Program.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
  • A proven record of business planning with demonstrable sales success.
  • Highly organized with self-motivation and autonomous work capabilities.
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
