**Key Role:** Category Manager

**About the Job:

  The successful candidate will drive category performance by achieving and exceeding sales, gross profit, and business growth targets through effective product, pricing, and promotional strategies.

  This includes deep dive insights to guide pricing and promotional strategies across all channels, optimising space, inventory, and product mix to meet market demand, and delivering a market leading customer experience.

  Product innovation & sourcing is another key responsibility, where the individual develops compelling product offers in collaboration with local and global sourcing teams.

  Stakeholder & supplier engagement is also crucial, requiring strong, mutually beneficial relationships with internal teams and trade partners.

**Requirements:*

  •   5+ years' experience in retail category or product management, preferably in tools or automotive.
  •   Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business fundamentals.
  •   Negotiation & supplier management skills, with confidence working with both local and overseas suppliers.
  •   Hands-on approach to data analysis and strategy execution.
  •   Strategic thinking, with ability to develop and execute long-term category strategies.
