About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated teacher to join our team at Bambara Primary School. As a K-6 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve our school's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in K-6, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum
  • Develop and implement whole-school approaches to teaching and learning, including explicit teaching and instructional strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve our school's goals, including promoting student voice and leadership
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, underpinned by our three values: be respectful, be safe, and be your best
  • Work with students, parents, and the wider community to promote student engagement and attendance
Requirements
  • Hold an eligible teaching qualification
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting
  • Consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit
