Salary

A competitive hourly rate of $50.00 will be offered to successful candidates, ensuring above award wages for a diverse and environmentally conscious workforce.

Job Description

We are looking for individuals with experience operating a range of plant materials and equipment, including articulated dump trucks and material handlers. The successful candidates will be responsible for sorting and organising different organic and recyclable materials, general labouring and maintenance of the buildings, performing ground works and some minor equipment repair, and landscaping and grounds conservation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Experience with basic hand and power tools, whipper snippers, and edging tools
  • Prior experience working in a Transfer Station highly advantageous
  • Experience with earth moving equipment such as compactors, bulldozers, and front-end loaders advantageous
  • Be physically fit and healthy for manual handling tasks
  • Ability to work in a range of environments, both indoors and outdoors
