Director, Workplace Relations
Description:This pivotal role drives forward innovative industrial strategies and governance frameworks that align with our university's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the workplace relations function, driving forward innovative industrial strategies and governance frameworks.
- Oversight of a team of workplace relations consultants, providing expert guidance on sensitive and complex matters.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, unions, and external partners.
- Develop and deliver training programs ensuring all staff understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to workplace relations.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent and extensive professional experience in employee and industrial relations functions.
- Solid knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements relating to workplace and industrial relations management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organisational objectives.
