Control Systems Lead Engineer Role

The organization is seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of control systems solutions for major projects.

This position involves providing technical direction, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring adherence to project requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team to deliver control systems solutions;
  • Providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality solutions;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to report progress and manage project scope;
  • Ensuring the delivery of solutions that meet client expectations;

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An Engineering degree or similar tertiary qualifications;
  • Experience in Australian Iron Ore mining projects/operations;
  • Demonstrated experience working in a project environment for either a systems integrator, OEM, or an EPCM;
  • Relevant PLC programming experience (e.g., Rockwell, Schneider, GE/Emerson);
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
  • An ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients;
  • Good organisational, time management, and decision-making capabilities;
  • Desirable additional skills/experience in bulk materials handling, mineral processing plants, mobile machines, and other relevant technology-related skills.
