The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Curriculum Domain. Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring successful delivery of project outcomes.
- Develop and implement project management plans, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring alignment with university strategic objectives.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring open communication and transparency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading two key projects:
- The Work Integrated Learning and Industry Placement Project: This project aims to ensure that Adelaide University programs have the necessary agreements to enable students to complete their placement requirements.
- The Adelaide University Online Curriculum Project: This project involves developing a curriculum with programs, course content, and a support structure to enable online delivery in 2026.
- Postgraduate qualifications in project management or a related field, or extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and executing complex projects, involving large numbers of diverse stakeholders, multiple tasks in parallel with competing deadlines and changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with extensive and diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence managers and staff with tact and diplomacy.
