About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Technical Resources. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering projects from conceptual design to execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Manage and coordinate electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
    • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
    • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
    • Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical engineering, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical engineering solutions meet project requirements.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and engineers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
    • Provide regular project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Australian recognized 4-year Bachelor qualification in Electrical and/or Power Engineering.
  • Experience
    • Extensive years of experience in electrical engineering project management, with a strong background in resource projects or similar.
    • Proven track record of delivering electrical engineering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, including brownfield interfaces, HV and LV systems, AC and DC systems, power distribution, and electrical calculations.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
