Lead Database Reliability Engineer

We seek a seasoned leader with expertise in database administration, data reliability engineering, and data engineering to drive innovative solutions and manage resources and stakeholders.

The team designs, builds, develops, maintains, and supervises database infrastructure, meeting all data-related needs with dedication and scale. As a leader, you will guide DBAs and database engineers to achieve excellence by emphasizing dependability and availability and improving database performance.

About This Role

This position oversees database reliability engineering, ensuring dependable and highly available database infrastructure for mission-critical workloads.

Your Qualifications
  • Demonstrate direct experience managing teams supporting production workloads on MySQL, PostgreSQL, CloudSQL, and other cloud native databases (2 years).
  • Show 8+ years of experience with design, development, management of database administration and development using MySQL, PostgreSQL, CloudSQL, and other cloud native databases.
  • Hold hands-on experience with at least one cloud technology: AWS, GCP, and/or other clouds managing clustered, highly available database services deployed on different flavors of Linux.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
