About Disability Support Worker Role

We provide personalised in-home support and care to individuals across Melbourne. As a leading provider, we specialise in delivering disability services tailored to our clients' unique needs and preferences.

About the Client and Care Needed: We seek an experienced Support Worker with manual handling and hoisting experience. This role requires supporting a male client with a spinal cord injury, assisting with his morning routine. Responsibilities include continence care, hoisting, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping & occasional community access. Our client resides in Western Melbourne.

Main Job Duties Include:

  • Continence Management

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification III in Disability or Equivalent
  • Valid Victorian Drivers Licence and Reliable Vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Online NDIS Orientation Module
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Minimum 2 Years of Relevant Working Experience
  • Ability to Provide One-on-One Care
  • Proficiency in Understanding and Implementing Support Plans
