About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Nurse Manager Grade 3 to join our Mental Health Acute Services team at NSW Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading nursing staff across specific Acute Mental Health teams, ensuring the delivery of safe, quality patient care, and addressing clinical issues with a risk management approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address clinical issues and improve patient care
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Recent high-level experience and skills in mental health leadership and management in acute settings
  • Ability to lead and manage nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
