Geriatric Nurse Opportunity

A Geriatric Nurse opportunity is available at an Innisfail Medical Clinic.

The Registered Nurse works independently at full scope of practice, focusing on Seniors Health (Geriatrics).

Job Requirements:
  • Active Practice Permit with CARNA
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification
  • 3-5 years' experience in nursing
  • Experience in community-based care is an asset
  • Experience in Geriatrics preferred

Key skills and qualifications include the ability to conduct comprehensive and focused nursing assessments, knowledge of different types and stages of dementia, client-focused orientation, clear and concise communication skills, strong organizational skills, and professionalism.
