About the Role

The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead the Child Health Outreach Program (CHOP) as Team Leader.

This role requires strong management and coordination skills, with a focus on cultural integrity and high standards of clinical care and case management. The position involves outreach work with clinical, liaison, and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team in delivering healthcare services to children and families.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for improving health outcomes in the community.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner with AHPRA.
  • At least five years of clinical experience, preferably in community-based child health nursing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
