Occupational Therapist Senior Clinical Lead

This role provides clinical leadership and expertise within the occupational therapy service.

The successful candidate will provide expert advice, guidance, and supervision to staff members.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies for care delivery optimisation
  • Provide leadership in quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes
  • Supervise and mentor occupational therapists to ensure high-quality patient care

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Full registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
  • Extensive clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist Level 2
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, complete and share quality improvement activities or service evaluation processes
  • Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students, level 1/2 Allied Health Professionals and/or Allied Health Assistants

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to staff on occupational therapy practice
  • Implementing and evaluating quality improvement activities or service evaluation processes
  • Supervising and mentoring staff to ensure high-quality patient care

Working Arrangements:

  • Occupational Therapy Department Royal North Shore Hospital St Leonards within the acute care team
