About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Devops Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. As a Cloud Devops Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of technical solutions on the public cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and automate Azure Services with a focus on security, compliance, and cost optimization using Terraform for Enterprise consumption.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the banks Azure platform, its patterns, and tools.
  • Engage with customers, gather requirements, and plan/schedule deliveries.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex service issues across infrastructure and applications.
  • Facilitate solution design and delivery phases to ensure timely resolution of design issues.
  • Ensure end-to-end compliance, security, and pattern automation best practices.
  • Provide expert input on capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning for cloud platform stability.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers, fostering a collaborative "one team" mindset.
  • Stay current on industry and technical trends to evaluate and recommend improvements to Azure offerings and automation.
  • Apply Agile frameworks and techniques to deliver business value.
Requirements
  • A broad experience in many Azure technologies and the proven ability to dive deep into any on an as need basis.
  • Expert experience in IaC using Terraform to create reusable modules for enterprise consumption across the bank.
  • Experience in one or more DevOps automation tools including BitBucket, Jira, Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Azure cloud certifications highly regarded.
