We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recycling Team Leader to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to manage a team effectively, and have a strong understanding of recycling procedures and practices.
- Manage the repair department to ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order.
- Conduct LOLER and PAT testing to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage the warranty/scrapping system to optimize stock levels and values.
- Order spare parts and consumables as needed and manage inventory levels.
- Implement effective waste management practices to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact.
- Communicate effectively with OTs and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of standard stock and recycled specials.
- Manage special products, including 360 video requests, in a timely manner.
- Process recycled specials promptly and efficiently within recycling targets.
- Ensure procedures are followed by team members and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and improve stock levels and values, Cleaning and Repair KPIs on a daily basis.
- Maintain clean and tidy workspaces and environments.
- Keep HR data for all staff up to date on all platforms.
- Arrange duties to ensure all areas of the recycling department are adequately covered.
