About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our team at Accor Apartments & Realty. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, including dishware, utensils, and workspaces.
    • Operate commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning equipment to ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and sanitized.
  • Support to the Kitchen Team
    • Provide assistance to the kitchen team with various tasks, including food preparation, grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings.
    • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Remove rubbish and recyclables from the kitchen area.
    • Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience
    • Previous experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Attitudes
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
