Civil Construction Site Supervisor

At SF Prestige Homes, we are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee all aspects of civil construction and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and control site operations in collaboration with the Project Manager to drive project delivery to meet or exceed program timelines.
  • Optimise daily operations for cost effectiveness and manage resource allocation, including plant and workforce planning.
  • Oversee survey and set-out operations, validate construction drawings and specifications against site conditions, and ensure quality control through proper equipment calibration and setup.
  • Implement and maintain project management plans and site-specific risk analyses, enforce WHS&E requirements and project safety plans, and conduct worker inductions and maintain compliance records.
  • Lead regular safety audits and weekly inspections, ensure subcontractor WHS&E compliance through document review and management, and facilitate site meetings in accordance with OH&S policies and company procedures.
  • Implement and oversee inspection and test plans, verify work quality against drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements, and maintain calibration standards for all measurement equipment.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager for material requirements and advance planning, liaise with Procurement Manager regarding material delivery schedules, and communicate with Construction Manager regarding plant and equipment availability.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily site records, including site activities, material deliveries, plant movements, workforce attendance, weather conditions, variations, site inductions, and review and approve staff timecards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in civil construction site supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
  • Superior communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

This position requires a hands-on approach and will involve physical work as needed to support project delivery.
