Job Title: Livestock Assistant Manager – Inverell Nsw

Livestock Assistant Managers play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of livestock handling and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of livestock quality control measures, animal health and pasture management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all aspects of livestock handling and quality control are undertaken safely and with a focus on animal welfare standards and the production of high-quality seedstock.
• Maintain accurate and timely livestock records to support informed decision-making.
• Develop and train Seedstock team members to build strong seedstock knowledge and technical capabilities, fostering a high-performing and knowledgeable workforce.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Proven experience in stud cattle operations, ideally with black cattle (Ultrablack, Brangus, Angus or similar)
• A strong understanding of livestock quality control measures, animal health and pasture management
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
