About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Allocator to join our Intermodal team at Acacia Ridge. As an essential member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring deadlines are met efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationships
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules, and run sheets
  • Monitor service schedules for fleet and other administrative tasks
  • General administrative tasks that support the wider team

Requirements

  • Previous experience in transport/allocating/coordinating roles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, drivers, and customers
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area is highly regarded
  • Highly organized with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
  • Highly proficient computer skills and ability to pick things up quickly

What We Offer

We are offering a 6 am to 2 pm role, Monday to Friday, with the potential for overtime when required. Start times for this position may vary and are flexible.
