Industries Solutions Consultant

At HP Australia, we are seeking a solutions-focused professional to support the growth of our Industrial Printing Solutions Services business in the Asia Pacific Japan region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering services and identifying new opportunities, deploying professional services for Industrial Print Software and Solutions customers.
This role involves strategic management of key client relationships, focusing on growth, profitability, and renewals, and addressing challenges using industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Success: Create and execute customer success plans in collaboration with the sales/pursuit team.
- Account Management: Lead account kick-offs, identifying customer success criteria, updating customer success plans, and expansion needs, and identifying key influencers and decision-makers.
- Technical Solutions: Analyze and deploy technology solutions, regularly leading technical assessments and deliveries to customers.
- Implementation: Lead the implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in printing, networks, applications, or platforms.
- Consulting: Provide advanced technical consulting and advice on proposal efforts, solution design, system management, tuning, and modification of solutions.
- Customer Insights: Collect and determine data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements.
- Technical Support: Respond to requests for technical information from customers.
- Solution Development: Develop customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies.
- Problem Solving: Engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies, often developing new methods to apply to the situation.
- Renewals: Drive successful renewal efforts by collaborating closely with sales and subject matter experts.
- Customer Escalations: Address customer escalations and related communications in a timely and proactive manner.
- Revenue Growth: Identify and lead initiatives to drive revenue growth within existing accounts, leveraging upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities.
- Sales Support: Manage activities and provide qualitative and quantitative information for successful sales. Produce complete proposals for engagements within area of expertise.
- Key Performance Indicators: Ensure managed services and customer engagement consistently exceed all relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor, sharing industry-specific subject matter expertise with customers.
- Business Reviews: Conduct regular strategic business reviews with clients to evaluate their progress, demonstrate value, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in a related area of study, or 11+ years of relevant professional experience without a degree.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Technical Knowledge: Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies.
- Innovation and Communication: Demonstrated innovation and communication of new deliverables and offerings.
- Solution Development: Ability to develop solutions that enhance the availability, performance, maintainability, and agility of a particular customer's enterprise.
- Experience Re-Use: Ability to re-use existing experience to develop new solutions to take to market.
- Architectural Dependencies: Understanding, at a detailed level, of architectural dependencies of technologies in use in the customer's workflow environment.
- Product and Application Knowledge: Frequently uses product and application knowledge along with internals or architectural knowledge to develop solutions.
- Communication and Adaptability: Able to communicate with internal and external senior management confidently and demonstrate the professionalism of the job family. Ability to work in a multi-technology environment with the ability to diagnose complex technical problems to their root cause.
- Technical and Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to lead others in the gathering of requirements, designs, plans, and estimates. Able to produce complete proposals for engagements within area of expertise.
- Market Knowledge: Demonstrated broad knowledge in other technical areas in order to properly manage complex integration efforts. Demonstrates application of technical expertise in successful engagements involving multiple disciplines.
