About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children from toddler to school age, providing safe, inclusive, nurturing care and educational programming. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and positive learning environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement daily programs that meet the diverse needs of children
  • Plan and prepare engaging activities, materials, and supplies to stimulate children's curiosity and creativity
  • Safely supervise children at all times, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being
  • Document children's progress, including their learning, health, and safety milestones
  • Maintain positive relationships with parents and co-workers through regular communication and collaboration
  • Prepare nutritious lunches and snacks, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent
  • A valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Sound knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, and related professional standards
  • Excellent professionalism and interpersonal skills; high initiative and dedication
  • A reliable team player who contributes positively to a cooperative and inclusive environment
  • The ability to adapt to different classes and age groups as required
  • A current vulnerable sector check
