About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead our procurement activities in Australia. This role is responsible for all Direct & Indirect Procurement in support of our enterprise, in a global context.

You will be responsible for leading a team of procurement, sourcing, and supply chain professionals who will execute compliant procurement actions. This includes developing procurement strategies and supplier relationship plans that are innovative and cost-effective.

As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the development of our business strategy and ensure alignment with our goals.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency;">
  • Lead a high-performing team of procurement professionals to achieve business objectives;">
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders;">
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;">
  • Analyse market trends and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior or leadership capacity within procurement;">
  • Demonstrated expertise in Defence procurement - ASDEFCON;">
  • Proven track record of delivering functional and operational improvements;">
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence;">
  • Ability to act as the Head of Sourcing and Commercial Management where required.">

  • Demonstrated experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management & Supplier Relationship Management;">
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing subcontracts, purchase orders, agreements, and negotiating terms;">
