We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced shop hand/counter assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with counter sales and display, preparing and packing produce, cleaning as per Food Safety Legislation, and working under direction.

As a key member of our team, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service, work well with small teams, and maintain a strong work ethic.

You will also be required to adhere to Food Safety and Hygiene policies, prepare and pack produce, assist with counter sales and display, and clean as per the Food Safety Legislation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain valuable experience in the meat industry and work in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires the ability to work Monday to Friday and have weekend availability.

We offer overtime pay and a competitive hourly rate of $29.00 - $33.00 per hour.

Expected hours are 35 - 44 per week.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in the meat industry
  • Ability to work well with small teams
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work under direction
  • Food Safety and Hygiene qualifications
