About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our reputable multidisciplinary team at Qscan Radiology Clinics.

Job Description

This permanent, full-time position involves providing high-quality patient care, performing a range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, and interpreting requests in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
  • Nuclear Medicine Procedures: Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine procedures to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
  • Procedure Interpretation: Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong passion for patient-centred care and Nuclear Medicine Technologist qualifications.
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
  • AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
