Job Title: Nurse Oncologist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team at Newcastle Private Hospital. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with legislation and evidence-based practice
  • Liaise effectively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Supervise and direct nursing team members to ensure safe and efficient delivery of care
  • Assess and improve perioperative nursing care to enhance patient experience
  • Complete required documentation in line with local and national policies
Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-registration experience
  • Demonstrated expertise working within an acute medical or oncology setting
  • Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work a seven-day roster, including night duty
