Job Title: Nurse OncologistWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team at Newcastle Private Hospital. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with legislation and evidence-based practice
- Liaise effectively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Supervise and direct nursing team members to ensure safe and efficient delivery of care
- Assess and improve perioperative nursing care to enhance patient experience
- Complete required documentation in line with local and national policies
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-registration experience
- Demonstrated expertise working within an acute medical or oncology setting
- Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work a seven-day roster, including night duty
- A competitive salary package, estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
