Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ITAD Technician to join our ITAD & e-waste team in New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing asset testing and data wiping of all IT equipment, as well as managing our ecommerce platform and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to, prioritizing Safety above all else
  • Manage incoming and outgoing asset testing and data wiping of all IT equipment, including PCs, laptops, network switches, and servers
  • Manage ecommerce platform and sales, including product testing, listing, responding to customer queries, and providing solutions
  • Perform hardware refurbishing and troubleshooting, primarily on PCs, laptops, and servers
  • Install and manage Windows, MacOS, and Chrome operating systems
  • Receive and record materials using ERP software
  • Perform data erasure and diagnostics using software
  • IT parts harvesting and testing
  • Operate battery-powered and compressed air tools
  • Follow instructions from the ITAD Team Leader

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License and own reliable car preferred due to limited public transport
  • Previous working experience in a similar role
  • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity, with the ability to lift and move equipment
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills

Selection Criteria

  • Pass a Federal Police clearance check
  • Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia
  • Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to the position
