Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Taxation Expert to join our team. As a Taxation Expert, you will play a key role in tax compliance and advisory for all tax matters of our organization and its controlled entities.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a corporate environment and gain exposure to a wide range of tax matters.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation of income tax returns for the NEC tax consolidated group and its controlled entities
  • Preparing income tax forecasts and provisions, with maintenance of the tax fixed assets register
  • Preparing the monthly and quarterly BAS and IAS
  • Liaising with the ATO and assisting in maintaining the income tax consolidated and GST groups and other tax/revenue related registrations
  • Collaborating with the wider Finance team with a view to consistently improving tax processes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in taxation or accounting are essential
  • CA or CPA qualifications commenced or about to commence is desirable
  • Exposure to any Big 4 or chartered accounting firm and/or corporate environment is highly desirable
  • Advanced skills in Word and Excel
  • Strong skills in multiple stakeholder management, written and verbal communication and commitment to meeting deadlines are essential
