Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated coach to lead our Secondary School Sports Program for the 2024 Indoor Hockey season.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching sessions that cater to the needs of students, mentoring students to develop their skills and confidence, and modeling the school's values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching teams during midweek training on Tuesdays and competition games on Friday nights
  • Delivering engaging coaching sessions that meet the diverse needs of students
  • Mentoring students to enhance their skills and confidence in a sports environment
  • Upholding the school's code of conduct and promoting positive values among students

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants should have a strong passion for sports, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with students and staff. Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a current Working with Children Check, Level 1 First Aid or be prepared to obtain these.
